There are countless underseen treasures on Vimeo and YouTube waiting to exhibited. There is plenty of substantial, quality work that goes relatively unnoticed (e.g., having only 10,000 views, probably with only trace numbers of viewers from the Akron area, vs. the million-plus views on a successful viral video.) It is time consuming to sort through it all, however, even with the guidance of blogs (which for our purposes are middlemen curators.) If you're watching videos online anyway, could you let us know about the good ones? We'd happily give you prominent credit for finds that we like and are able to get the rights to screen. No application is required – all it takes is an email to us with the links - but there are a few guidelines to follow:

1. Please don't send more than five videos a month. Narrow it down to the best you've seen!

2. If you're seeing it everywhere, we probably are too. If there are already several million views on the video, Akron audiences probably don't need us to bring it to them.

3. Leave contacting the filmmakers to us.

We'll let you know what we're thinking of your links. For the next festival we expect to have a strong and eclectic lineup of films that have been seen by virtually no one from the area and may never be seen here if you don't help us bring them to a big screen.
