Advanced Lighting, instructed by Mike Pritt

Go beyond basic techniques and learn new ways to illuminate your set. Saturday, April 4th, 1:00 PM at Mocha Maiden (17 Maiden Lane, enter off W. Market St.), approx. 2 hrs.


Acting on Camera, instructed by Sean Derry and Alanna Romansky

Sean Derry and Alanna Romansky of The Bang and the Clatter Theatre Company will use their film acting experience to guide participants in how it’s done. Saturday, April 4th at 3:15 PM at the Akron Art Museum, approx. 2.5 hrs.


How to Read a Film, instructed by Joanna Wilson
Gain a deeper appreciation of film by discussing the elements filmmakers use to communicate with audiences. Sunday, April 5th at 1:30 PM at the Akron Art Museum, approx. 90 min.


Super 8 Filmmaking, instructed by Kendra Minadeo
Sponsored by Revival
Participants will work together to create a short film. Sunday, April 5th at 3:00 PM at the Akron Art Museum, approx. 2 hrs.


Camerless Filmmaking, instructed by Kendra Minadeo
Participants will paint, scratch, and doodle directly onto blank 16mm film stock to create a handmade film. The results will screen during the festival. Saturday, March 21st at 12:00 PM at the Akron Art Museum, approx. 2 hrs.
