The Akron Film Festival


The full 2010 film schedule will come online the week of August 30th. And yet tickets are already on sale!

The Akron Film Festival is a four day event featuring local and international films, plus workshops. It will return from September 23rd-26th, 2010 for its second year at the Akron Art Museum. (The submission period is now closed.) The 2009 fest, where we presented five features and twenty-five shorts, was held in April. The event was first held downtown in 2008 at the Bang and the Clatter Theatre in the Summit Artspace, where sold out screenings and enthusiastic crowds helped propel us to where we are today.
